Babies have an increased need for fluids when diarrhea occurs and require special attention. Diet management serves to prevent dehydration (dehydration) caused by loss of fluids. Scientific societies recommend administration of oral rehydration solutions and continuation of feeding.

We specially developed Humana HN to support the diet management of frequent or long-lasting diarrhea.

Humana Expert is our special food for babies and toddlers with special dietary needs - based on the latest scientific findings.

Helps normalize stool appearance: Incomplete nutrient absorption leads to osmotic movement of fluid into the intestines, leading to symptoms of diarrhea. The high proportion of maltodextrin in Humana HN is easily absorbed and the reduced fat content reduces the passage of water into the intestine. This supports the normalization of the chair image.

With banana: The high fiber content of the banana flakes and the galacto-oligosaccharides promote regeneration until normal stool consistency. In addition, the pleasant taste of the food facilitates adequate food intake.

Reduced lactose content: Diarrhea is often accompanied by a short-term, reduced lactase activity and a resulting lactose malabsorption. To adapt to the affected intestine, the lactose content in Humana HN is reduced, which counteracts lactose malabsorption.

Important instructions:
Breastfeeding is the best nutrition for your baby. Talk to your pediatrician or midwife if you want to use formula.

Humana HN is based on cow's milk protein and is not suitable for people with cow's milk protein allergy, lactose intolerance or disorders of the glucose and galactose metabolism.

Humana HN is suitable for the exclusive feeding of infants from birth or for supplementary feeding after the 6th month. Always consult a doctor if your baby has diarrhea and the diarrhea symptoms do not improve. Only suitable for enteral nutrition.

Use Humana HN only under medical supervision.

Don't let your baby suck on the bottle all the time. Like breast milk, infant formula contains carbohydrates which can cause tooth decay through tooth decay if they come into frequent or prolonged contact with the teeth.

Properly dosed
Please only use the measuring spoon from this pack. The specified drinking quantities are only guidelines and can vary individually, because every baby is unique.

Simply prepared:
Follow the instructions when preparing the baby food: thoroughly clean the bottle, teat and ring. Prepare every meal fresh. Feed immediately and do not reuse leftovers. Incorrect preparation and storage can lead to health problems.

1. Boil the water, let it cool down to 50°C and fill halfway into a clean bottle.

2. Take the powder with the enclosed measuring spoon and scrape it off with the back of a knife or similar. Fill the required amount of powder into the bottle.

3. Close the bottle and shake vigorously immediately, then add the remaining water and shake vigorously again.

4. Attach teat and check contents for drinking temperature (37°C).

Note: Do not heat in the microwave (danger of scalding).
